Deepika Shori is an Indian advocate, social worker, and political leader from Sukma, Chhattisgarh. She currently holds the position of Member of the Chhattisgarh State Women's Commission, Government of Chhattisgarh, a role she has held since 13 October 2024, with additional responsibility as In-charge for the Bastar division and Additional Charge for the Raipur division. She has also held multiple leadership positions within the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and allied organizations, and is the founder of Bastar Kshitij Samajik Seva Samiti, a voluntary social service organization based in Sukma.

Early Life

Deepika Shori was born on 27 February 1988 in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, to Shri Sant Kumar Shori and Smt. Rekha Shori. She belongs to the Gond community, a Scheduled Tribe. She hails from Village & Post Pakela, Roadpara, Block Chindgarh, District Sukma, Chhattisgarh.

Deepika Shori is the founder of Bastar Kshitij Samajik Seva Samiti, Sukma, Chhattisgarh, a voluntary organization operating since 2018 and formally registered on 15 November 2022 (Registration No. 122202274792, GST No. 22AANAB2591B1Z4).

Key initiatives undertaken through this committee include:

  • Free distribution of Lord Ganesh idols across 60 villages of Sukma district over five years, with coverage expanding annually
  • Organizing an annual Ganesh festival (Bhandara) in Ramaram village for two consecutive years (2024–2025)
  • Distribution of 5,000 stitched masks, 100 litres of sanitizer, and dry ration kits in Chindgarh block during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–21)
  • Rebuilding a home and providing essential supplies for a 90-year-old flood-affected woman in Konta block
  • Running a continuous tree-plantation programme across Chindgarh, Sukma, and Konta blocks since 2023, with over 600 saplings planted
