In 2008, he was promoted to Business Manager, with responsibilities covering the entire Northeast region. In 2013, he was promoted to Business Development Manager and was based in Kolkata, with responsibilities covering the seven states of Northeast India, West Bengal and Odisha.

In 2014, Subhashish Roy left Novo Nordisk and started Swastik Tours and Travels. The company operates as a travel business serving corporate clients through rent-a-cab services and tour packages.

Subhashish Roy is also the Founder and Director of AXOM International Tours LLP.
