Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Karn completed his B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from MANIT, Bhopal.
Career
Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Karn has over 24 years of experience in teaching and higher education, including more than 12 years in senior leadership roles such as Principal, Director, and Dean at engineering and higher education institutions in Bhopal. His expertise includes academic leadership, institutional development, research, quality assurance, compliance, accreditation, and educational innovation.
He is the Director of Gyan Akshar Sanskriti Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit company registered under 12A and 80G, which focuses on promoting education from school to university levels and contributing to the development of a knowledge-driven society.
Dr. Karn specializes in institutional compliance and quality assurance, working extensively on systems, policies, SOPs, documentation, and quality processes related to NAAC, NBA, IQAC, academic audits, and regulatory requirements.
His research expertise lies in power systems, optimization techniques, and intelligent computational methods, with over 30 research publications in international journals and conferences including SCOPUS-indexed, IEEE, and Springer platforms. He has successfully guided multiple Ph.D. scholars and authored more than 10 books covering technical textbooks as well as self-help and motivational literature.
Dr. Karn has experience in industry–academia collaboration, skill development, employability projects, and workforce development, including the implementation of a DAY-NULM project that trained 1,620 candidates with a project value of ₹3.96 crore.
He is also an experienced speaker and mentor, delivering expert lectures, faculty-development programmes, webinars, and motivational sessions for students, faculty members, and professionals.
