Career
Dr Saanjiv Singh Chaawla is a second-generation torchbearer of the legacy established by his father, Dr Lal Singh Ji. As Managing Director of Dr Lal Singh Group of Companies and Head of the Centre for Advanced Homeopathy (CAH), he has developed and expanded specialised homoeopathic, nutraceutical, and herbal healthcare ventures. His work includes the development of the ELHEFCO range of specialised homoeopathic formulations and initiatives in nutraceuticals, herbal cosmetics, and advanced homoeopathic remedies.
Philanthropy
Dr Chaawla is the founder and driving force behind the Dr Lal Singh Foundation, engaged in charitable healthcare and community service since 2008. The Foundation operates approximately 25 charitable homoeopathic dispensaries across Delhi NCR, many located in Gurdwaras and Mandirs, providing free consultation and medicines. Around 40 homoeopathic doctors are associated with these services. He also runs four principal clinical centres in Delhi NCR and offers free treatment to patients unable to afford healthcare.
Inspired by Sikh principles and the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dr Chaawla oversees a free daily Langar outside Gate No. 1 of AIIMS, New Delhi, serving about 1,000 people daily without distinction of religion, caste, or economic background. Another major initiative is the annual Run for Cause event on World Homoeopathy Day, which promotes inclusion and celebrates persons with disabilities through a public run and awards.
Through these initiatives, Dr Chaawla combines homoeopathy, healthcare, employment generation, inclusion, and community service, continuing the humanitarian legacy of Dr Lal Singh Ji.
