Career
Dr Anjan Kumar Sahoo spent 34 years in the pharmaceutical organisation, starting as a Medical Representative and eventually becoming the CEO, heading the global business. Throughout his career, he worked across various domains including sales, marketing, market research, brand management, human resources, finance, logistics, research and development with a focus on clinical trials, manufacturing, contract manufacturing, operations in B2B and B2C marketing, international business, alliance formation, mergers and acquisitions, new business initiatives, launch of new SBUs, strategy, risk mitigation, and client management.
After retirement, he pursued an academic career aligned with his mission, focusing on digital health and human transformation. He is also the author of the book titled "Cliq to Consult: Vision 2030. Digital Health & Human Transformation."
Achievements
Dr Anjan Kumar Sahoo was awarded the Best CEO of the country in 2014 for his contribution to establishing uniform pricing on all chronic care products at one-tenth the price of other brands. He was also recognized as a Young Leader in the pharmaceutical industry by Pharma World in 2016. He has five publications in international A-indexed Scopus journals.
