Early Life
Sadhvi Vijeshanand Saraswati Ji's spiritual journey began at a young age. While studying in the fifth grade, she was inspired to begin chanting the "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya" Mahamantra. Since that time, the mantra has remained the foundation of her life and spiritual practice, which she describes as having become inseparable from her breath through years of devotion and meditation.
Career
Sadhvi Vijeshanand Saraswati Ji founded the Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Trust in 2019 with the aim of spreading the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, promoting moral values, and serving society. The trust's work is organized around four main areas: spiritual education, women's empowerment, youth empowerment, and farmer welfare.
The trust's spiritual education work introduces the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to children and young minds in schools, alongside meditation practices intended to build focus, resilience, and inner peace. Its women's empowerment initiatives focus on equipping women with skills, confidence, and resources to achieve financial independence and take on leadership roles within their families and communities. Its youth empowerment work provides young people with guidance, skill-building, and mentorship. Its farmer welfare initiatives work closely with sugarcane farmers to introduce modern agricultural techniques intended to improve yield, sustainability, and livelihood, including publishing a Hindi-language sugarcane cultivation guide aimed at increasing farmers' income and promoting modern farming practices.
The trust's broader activities also span health awareness and community well-being, yoga and meditation, environmental conservation, police welfare, support for armed forces personnel, legal awareness, and humanitarian service for the underprivileged, including free medical camps, food and clothing distribution, and support for orphans, the elderly, and the underprivileged.
According to the trust, its activities have reached more than 25,000 members, more than 350 events, more than 50 cities, and more than 100,000 people, over more than 15 years of service.
Philanthropy
Sadhvi Vijeshanand Saraswati Ji has expanded her work beyond personal spiritual practice into organized social service through the Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Trust, which she describes as a platform for social and spiritual transformation.
