Early Life
Dr. Laxmikanta Mahapatra belongs to a small village in Odisha named Sarankula. He completed his early education at a village school and later attended college in Nayagarh. He pursued his Master of Business Administration degree from Nagpur, Maharashtra. His father was a government school Sanskrit teacher and his mother a housewife. From childhood, he learned discipline, obedience, fellow feeling, and care for nature.

Career
Dr. Laxmikanta Mahapatra had a 21-year career as an Air Force officer before retiring. Following this, he worked as a Security Officer at Odisha Mining Corporation for 8 years. He then joined the private sector, serving the national brand Aakash Institution in Bhubaneswar. For 12 years, he was the chief coordinator and CEO of ME Super-30, a NEET and IIT-JEE coaching institute in Odisha.
