Dr Ngilang Taley is an Indian general physician, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) based in Delhi, with nearly 30 years of medical experience. He is recognised for his contributions to public health, healthcare administration, and tuberculosis (TB) eradication efforts.

Career
Dr Ngilang Taley serves as Chief Medical Officer at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD)-run Rajan Babu Institute for Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis (RBIPMT). He also serves as District TB Officer, leading anti-TB initiatives out of the Kingsway Chest Clinic in the Kingsway Zone, Delhi. In addition to his institutional roles, he operates a private evening clinic located at the MCD RBTB Hospital campus in GTB Nagar, Kingsway Camp, Delhi.
He actively drives the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (TB-Free India campaign), organizing field-level training programs for ASHA workers and community healthcare providers to improve early detection of tuberculosis. He has publicly advocated for the role of patient nutrition alongside medication in supporting recovery from clinical illness. He has also contributed to clinical research on the prevalence of tuberculosis and on quality management systems in diagnostic laboratories.
Philanthropy
Dr Ngilang Taley serves as Chairman and President of the Reading Promotion Endowment Trust for Arunachal (RPETA). The trust was established during the COVID-19 pandemic and promotes literature, education, and mobile library services for underprivileged children in Northeast India.
