Career
During 1974-75, while studying his first year of law, Thodime Malla Reddy suffered from schizophrenia. He received treatment from Dr. H.S. Subramaniam at Manasa Neuro Psychiatric Hospital in Bangalore. After two decades of struggle, he became completely normal by 1992. In 2009, he wrote a book about his traumatic experiences with schizophrenia. Later, he authored a book in Telugu titled ఒక మానసిక వ్యాధిగ్రస్తుని ఆత్మకథ. In 2016, The Hyderabad Book Trust published his book ఓడి గేలిచిన మనిషి. Subsequently, Walnut Publishing Company published an English book titled The Man Who Won After Losing. He wrote these books to create awareness among the public and to help victims and caregivers.
