Education
Dr. Nikhil Gupta completed his MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune. He completed his schooling at Government Higher Secondary School, Nagrota Gujroo, Billawar.
Career
Dr. Nikhil Gupta secured the first rank in his university MD examination. He is the founder and senior consultant psychiatrist at Mind Wellness Clinic in Jammu and Wellness Clinic in Udhampur. He has served as faculty in the Postgraduate Department of Psychiatry at ASCOMS, Jammu. His clinical and academic focus includes integrative medicine, child psychiatry, and trauma therapies such as EMDR and EFT.
He is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society Task Force on Mind Health in Public Health and co-chairperson of the Mind Body Medicine Speciality Section of the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry. Dr. Gupta is also a member of the CONCEPT Group (Collaborative Obesity Network for Comprehensive Care, Education, Prevention & Treatment). Additionally, he is a Theatre of the Oppressed (TOO) facilitator, influenced by Augusto Boal’s work.
Dr. Gupta is a member of the Advisory Committee for Disability Initiatives at the University of Jammu.
