Prof.(Dr.)Umesh Chandra is an Indian Professor of Entomology based in Kumarganj, Ayodhya. He is associated with Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology and specializes in Integrated Pest Management, Economic Entomology, Biological Control, Toxicology, Field Crop, Horticultural Crop and Vegetable Crops, Honey Bees and Pollinators, and Advanced Entomology. He is popularly known as the "IPM Man."

He has also served as Deputy Director Research, Joint Director (Seed & Farm), Officer Incharge of Crop Research Station Masaudha, Officer Incharge Reception, Assistant Hostel Warden, Associate Dean, Student Welfare, Incharge Academic, Coordinator of RAWE, and Coordinator of ELP. His career focuses on teaching and research in the field of Entomology.
