Dr Dhanaji Haridas Khatal, a general surgeon, founded the hospital in 2016 in memory of his mother, Mangal Haridas Khatal. Initially, it started as a 10-bed facility named Mangal Hospital. On 24 April 2025, it was expanded and transformed into a 50-bed multispeciality hospital. The inauguration was conducted by the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar, with Solapur District Guardian Minister Jay Bhau Gore presiding over the event.

The hospital provides a range of healthcare services including general surgery and specialized treatment for piles. Dr Khatal has performed approximately 13,000 piles sclerotherapy procedures and around 7,000 piles surgeries. The hospital has examined nearly 35,000 outpatients.
