Sivaprakash

Dr. Sivaprakash was born on 4 March 1982 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration (BBA) at Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science in Madurai. Sivaprakash began his exploration of the performing arts at an early age, teaching himself various forms of dance and music. His passion for dance led him to study both traditional Indian folk dances and contemporary Western dance styles.

Career Overview

Sivaprakash’s career began in 2000 when he started performing as a solo dancer. His self-taught knowledge of dance helped him to win numerous awards at district and state-level competitions. He soon began teaching dance at Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science in 2001 while still a student. Over the years, he has trained thousands of students across India and internationally, contributing significantly to the dance community. He has taught and choreographed in a variety of institutions ranging from schools and colleges to international dance platforms.
