Leadership
Sakshi Gupta is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Amateur Sports Management. She is a national-level 10-metre air pistol shooter, sports educator, administrator, and author with over 18 years of experience in sports education and management. She holds a Master's degree in Physical Education from Amity University, is a Ph.D. scholar, and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Event Management from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior.
Her experience includes managing physical education departments, sports academies, professional coaches, inter-school competitions, school sports events, and athlete development programmes. She has also been associated with Special Olympics Bharat and served as a Bowling Coach for Uttar Pradesh at the national level. Under her leadership, Amateur Sports Management continues to expand its academies, partnerships, sporting events, and development programmes.
She has participated at the All-India level in various sports, building a career that combines competitive sports, education, leadership, and sports management. In 2010, she was selected for the Uttar Pradesh Police but chose not to join the service, opting instead to continue her career in sports education and management. She worked with Delhi Public School, Moradabad, for five years and later served as Head of the Department of Sports Sciences at Global Indian International School, Noida, for eight years. Her professional career has also involved talent identification, tournament management, and the creation of structured pathways for students to compete at the district, state, national, and international levels.
Sakshi Gupta's son, Ganak Aggarwal, is a national-level and rated chess player, and her husband, Mridul Aggarwal, is a senior management professional working with a multinational corporation.
