Dr Sujeet Ranjan has over 25 years of experience working in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. He transitioned from Human Resource Management to the Development Sector to contribute to nation-building and public service, inspired by feedback received during the Personality Test of the Civil Services Examination. His professional journey includes work with philanthropic organizations such as Tata Trusts, CARE India, Coalition for Food and Nutrition Security (CFNS - National Nutrition Coalition), Magic India Foundation, Population Foundation of India, Piramal Foundation, and United Way (Delhi, India Chapter).
He has worked under the leadership of Bharat Ratna Prof. (Dr) M.S. Swaminathan and Padma Bhushan Ratan Tata, whose guidance has influenced his approach to leadership and social impact. Dr Ranjan was recognized as one of the Top 200 Reproductive Health Fellows across Asia and Africa.
He holds key leadership roles including Member of the Board of Studies – Rural Management at Xavier Institute of Social Service, Governing Board Member of Population Services International India, Governing Board Member of Global Stronger Foundation for Nutrition, USA, and involvement with Human World for Animals India.

Dr Sujeet Ranjan has served as Secretary of Rotary International and is a member of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiative. He has experience as a teacher in a Government Girls School and as guest faculty at IRMA, XISS, and Symbiosis. He holds NCC Grade A Corps – Civil Rights and is a Grade A Member of the Indian Red Cross Society. Additionally, he served as General Secretary of ABVP.
