Jaswant Singh was born on 10 February 1978. He is originally associated with the Amritsar/Ludhiana area of Punjab, India, before establishing his business career in Uganda.
Education
Jaswant Singh holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering. He has also studied International Business, covering the period from 1990 to 1993.
Career
Jaswant Singh has built a business career spanning hardware, market trading, and transport businesses, primarily based in Kitgum, Uganda. Earlier in his career, he worked as a wholesaler for Tororo Cement, a major Ugandan cement manufacturer.
He currently serves as Managing Director of A-One Home Shopping Limited, Kitgum, Uganda, a position he has held since April 2018. He previously served as General Manager of the same organisation starting February 2016. Alongside A-One Home Shopping Limited, he also runs A-One Hardware Store and Sant Supermarket.
His areas of professional expertise include general management, business analysis, electrical wiring, Tally ERP, and time management.
