Helplifeglobal is a healthcare and social empowerment organization based in India and New York, USA. Founded by Dr. Neelam Bhardwaj, the organization focuses on healthcare research, maternal and child health, adolescent health, and sustainable empowerment models for vulnerable populations.
History / Founding
Helplifeglobal was founded by Dr. Neelam Bhardwaj, who holds postdoctoral qualifications in medicine and healthcare management from leading universities in India. She also earned a Diploma in Reproductive Health in Developing Countries from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom.
Products and Services
Helplifeglobal is recognized for its research on disabilities among adolescent girls and young women and for developing empowerment models that promote financial independence and responsible citizenship. The organization conducts workshops such as Innovating Minds, designed to motivate and empower young people, particularly those with disabilities.
Its work also focuses on maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health through research, technical support, and community-based development initiatives.
Leadership
Dr. Neelam Bhardwaj is the founder of Helplifeglobal. She has worked globally as a Technical Advisor in the field of maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health for over 23 years. She worked with UNICEF for 15 years in multiple countries and later with UNFPA in New York on reproductive health for women and girls, supporting programmes in more than 40 countries worldwide from New York.
She serves as a Board Member of the United Nations Working Group on Girls (WGG) since 2024. She is also a Board Member of Light Millennium, a charitable Global Human Advancement organization, and serves as a Global Advisor for Billion-Strong.org. Additionally, she is an active member of the Compassionate Birthing Network, Collaborative Birth Equity, Helping Children Worldwide, the International Society for Female Professionals (ISFP), and the Better Lives Foundation (UK).

Dr. Neelam Bhardwaj has received several national and international recognitions for her contributions to healthcare research and social innovation. Her honors include the Women's Leadership Award in Health (2024), Peace Ambassador recognition, the New York State Assembly Distinguished Citizen Citation, inclusion in Marquis Who's Who (2024), the Indian Authors Academy (IAA) Award for her publication Innovating Minds, Empowering Teens, and Engaging Parents, the Dynamic Leadership & Driving Innovation in Business Award at the CXO 2.0 Conference, Dubai (2025), and the National Excellence Awards (Technology for Social Good) in New Delhi (2026).
